fruit flies die doing everything correctly
in the wine at the bottom of the glass on rotting fruit overripe mangoes and plums sucre sickly sweet they get stuck and die billions of years of evolution everything in nature conspired to make it end this way for them compelled them to walk or dive straight into the very reason they exist they do everything they’re supposed to they do it correctly and it kills them
